Bocana Surf Spot
At Bocana, experienced surfers can tackle a fast river-mouth wave with hollow sections. Breaking on a cobblestone river-mouth bottom, this heavy wave is often larger at La Bocana than elsewhere. Expect powerful left and right waves, with localism adding to the challenge. Right beside it, you will find La Bocanita.
El Zonte Surf Spot
Situated amidst beautiful headlands, El Zonte offers a right-hand point break that accommodates various swell directions. Divided into two sections – the lined-up take-off point and the adjacent Zonte point – this spot provides a fun and rippable wave with occasional barrel sections. Easily accessible and to surf.

Nestled in a gated community of beach houses, K59 features a rock bottom with good hollow waves, similar to El Zonte but typically with better shape. Best experienced during mid-incoming tide, it is less busy than other right points in El Salvador. Though a bit of a hike, the uncrowded waves make it worthwhile.
